Patrick Pickett will bring 37 years of experience within the Australian Defence Force to the design of a concert that will commemorate 100 years of service by those who left our shores and served our nation in times of world crises. We will take you from the Gallipoli landing and formation of the ANZACs in 1915, through to Armistice Day and the joy of peace, then the rekindled fear of the 1940s and the euphoric celebrations that followed. Music has stirred our hearts through the many conflicts around the world where Australians have placed themselves in danger. We will commemorate their service and celebrate the nation. Award winning Australian artist Darren Coggan, boasts starring roles in Happy Days, Grease, Peace Train. His 4th Album War Stories is a moving salute to the ANZACs, for which he was awarded his second Golden Guitar. Also appearing will be Deborah O’Toole, a serving member of the Australian Defence Force and entertainer of troops around the world.
